Linda Lee (Handley) Horton-Quesenberry

Linda Lee (Handley) Horton-Quesenberry, age 76, passed away on July 21, 2016 in Rosebush, MI. She was born on July 3, 1940 in Tecumseh, MI, the daughter of Edward C. and Margaret Handley.  Linda was a retired foster parent who enjoyed playing cards, putting puzzles together and going to the casinos. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and a friend to many. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  Linda is survived by her loving children; John Horton of Britton, MI, Julie Horton of Jackson, MI, Tracy Eagle of Midland, MI and Chris, April and Helen Quesenberry all of Clare, MI, her grandchildren who adored her, Lori Quaintance of Ohio, Michael Horton of Onsted, Chandra Horton-Stange of Onsted, Ryan Howard of Ohio, Joshua McClanahan of West Virginia, Nathaniel and August Gallatin of Midland, Holden Horton of Missouri, and Krystal Horton of Iowa, her brother; Richard Handley and her sister; Eleanor Price, both of Britton, several nieces, nephews and very special friends; Bertha Mae Stough and Tina and Joe Veit all of Clare, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; William Quesenberry, her first born son; Joseph Marvin Horton, brothers; Dave, Edward, Robert and Tom Handley.  Visitation for Linda will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 210 W. Pottawatamie St., Tecumseh, MI from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM followed by cremation at Linda’s request. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
