What a wonderful picture of Janie! It captures perfectly her smile and her love of life! We have lots of cherished memories of Janie & her family at Smith’s Trailer Park and then, later, at our place in the country! Janie was a teenager then and was just as lovely and sweet then as she was in later years. She was our babysitter and dear friend. She doted on our small daughters and was a big part of their young lives. Although we only saw each other occasionally in later years, the connection was as strong as ever. She was a giving and gracious friend, and our community has lost a bright light.

My heart is still reeling, I have such happy memories, the trips we took to MI every summer, we would always stop and visit, that big smile she would always have, we'll always keep you in our hearts.

Laura you were such a fun person to work with and be around. I was so happy when I would see your smiling face at the high school ticket window! I am so sad that I did not stop and see you the Saturday of your garage sale. 😢🙏🏻 I will miss seeing and talking to you my friend.
