Larry John Pieplow

Larry John Pieplow, 70, of Morenci died April 30, 2015, at Lynwood Manor in Adrian.  He was born July 25, 1944, in Tecumseh, the son of Henry J and Margaret (Britsch) Pieplow. Larry attended Blissfield schools until the 10th grade then had to help on the family farm. He moved to Seneca Township in 1968 where he enjoyed hunting, trapping and building old gas engines to display at the Thresher’s Convention at the Fulton County Fairgrounds. He then worked at L&N Manufacturing in Hudson, Mich., and then Hydro Bohn Aluminum in Adrian where he retired in 2007. After retirement, Larry was involved in the Morenci Sportsman Club where he served as vice president and an instructor for the hunter’s safety program.  Larry is survived by two daughters, Shelley (and Joe) Baugh of Morenci, Brenda (Matt) Rupp of Westland and Henry (Cindy) Pieplow of Morenci; a sister, Nancy (Greg) Shaner of Onsted, and a brother, Terry Pieplow of Manitou Beach. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Pieplow of Florida.  A Celebration of Life will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 17, at the Morenci Sportsman Club.  Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that’s the way I’ll remember you.
