Julius Gustaaf Bierman

Julius Gustaaf Bierman, age 62, of Blissfield, MI, passed away, December 25, 2017. He was born April 4, 1955, in The Netherlands, the son of Theodor Arthur & Florine Heloise (Ng Chin Tjon) Bierman. He is survived by his stepchildren, Christina "Tina" M. Duncan, James "Andy" (Shonda) Duncan, Debbie Duncan, Michael Cutler and Tammy Cutler, grandchildren, Michelle Duncan, Alex Duncan, Autumn Duncan, Danielle Duncan, Jared Cutler and Jordan Cutler, his sister, Henriette Theodora Bierman Michael van Strien, daughter Gina and her partner Cosney and kids Keyano and Zoey, his brother Theodor Arnold Bierman and his kids Kaylee, Kyndra, Karlyssa, Krystal and partner Jerry and their child Riley. He has family in Curacao, Surinam and The Netherlands. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Susan Bierman. Julius was a Biomedical Engineer working as an Independent Service Engineer in Power Systems Management. He worked with a great team @ Legacy Enterprises LLC since 2009 who contracted with the Eaton Company. Julius earned several college degrees from the Medical College of Ohio, Schoolcraft College, Siena Heights University and RETS Technical Centers in Baltimore, MD.

Julius - A man of many things and loved so much. Words cannot describe how much we appreciated this man. To his step grandkids he was the father figure we could ever hope for. He taught us not only how to appreciate it and respect it as well. He passed on his knowledge to us through all the he has taught us, he live on forever in our hearts. - Alex & Michelle

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Katherine (Que) Price officiating. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
