Juanita (Solis) Soto

Juanita Soto age 92, of Adrian, MI, passed away February 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 24, 1924, in to Magdaleno & Andrea (Esquevel) Solis in San Antonio, Texas. On November 3, 1942, she married Tomas Soto in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Juanita was a member of La Iglesia Bautista Cristiana. She retired from Anderson Development Company. She enjoyed singing, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.  Juanita is survived by her husband Tomas and her sons, Pedro Soto of Winter Haven, FL, David (Elizabeth) Soto and Juan (Gloria) Soto both of Adrian, eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, Also surviving is one brother, Eusebio (Berta) Solis and two sisters, Paula (Jose) Rios and Carmen (Manuel) Trujillo of San Antonio, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Francis Edmond, sisters, Deloris Solis and Benice Soto, Dominga Ruiz, Venita Solis, Christina Gutierrez and Elisa S. Ayala and brother Nicholas Solis.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 20, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Doug Leith officiating. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, MI.
