John Urbina

John Urbina, age 80, of Adrian, MI, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 26, 2018, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. He was born July 12, 1937, in San Antonio, TX, the son of Demencio & Josefina (Morales) Urbina. He married Guadalupe Peña on June 5, 1965 in Toledo, OH.  John was a beloved husband and father, as well as a respected Pastor. He graduated Bible College and was the Pastor of Miracle Temple of Adrian, for 23 years where he lived out his passion to share the Word of God. He worked at Tecumseh Products for 40 years, he also spent his time serving the people in his community. John enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and he continued to be a witness of Christ until the day the Lord called him Home.   John is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Urbina, his 5 children, Natalie (Lorenzo) Guajardo, Cassandra Hermosillo, John (Kristina) Urbina, Nathan Urbina, and Anastasia Urbina and eleven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, four sisters, one son-in-law, and one grandchild.  Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, February 1, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Celebration Service at 6:30 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.   www.PurseFuneralHome.com
