John "Jack" Thomas McNulty, Sr., age 88, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 11, 2017, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born April 24, 1928, in Detroit, MI, the son of Phillip & Margaret (Crook) McNulty. He attended a one room school in Plymouth, MI (Cherry Hill School). Jack joined the U.S. Marines on October 9, 1945 and served two years post World War II. He was stationed in China. Jack worked for Dura Corp. until he was injured. He owned Mac's Upholstery in Tecumseh, MI for many years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Hazel McNulty, his son, John Thomas McNulty, Jr., three daughters, Katreena (Richard) Graham, Anne Marie Morey, Patricia (Dominic) Spinale, granddaughters, Crystle (Nathan) Burch, Samantha Mackey, Sarah Spinale, grandson, Kyle Spinale, five great grandchildren, Kelsie, Abby, Mason, Spencer and Broden. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Karl McNulty and Phillip McNulty, step-son, Michael Mooar and grandson, Robert Joe Robinson, Jr. Visitation will be on Monday April 24, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI. Memorial Services will follow at 7:00 PM Monday, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home Adrian, MI with Military Honors performed by the U.S. Marines Honor Guard.
