John Paul Duede

John Paul Duede, age 74, of Clinton, passed away August 3, 2017.  John was born November 14, 1942 in Ypsilanti, Michigan the son of Roy and Margaret (Hess) Duede.  On January 26, 1963 he married Patricia Hirschlieb in Ypsilanti, MI and she survives.  John was a graduate of Ypsilanti High School and Eastern Michigan University.  After over 40 years of service he retired from Ford Motor Company as a Quality Control Supervisor.  He was a long time member of the Clinton United Methodist Church.  John enjoyed woodworking,  golfing, sports and traveling.  In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children,  Nick (Tammy) Duede, Melissa Duede (Scott Brothers)  and Amy (Sheldon) VanDrese;  grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, Justin, Karly, Anthony and Noah; great grandson, Malakai; brothers, Harold (Bertha), Ralph and Raymond (Nancy); sisters, Shirley Tomford , Martha (Dick) Schneider and Debbie (Paul) Taube;  many nieces and nephews and his beloved Golden Retriever, Annie.  Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Pamela Beedle-Gee officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton.  Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 P. M.
