Joel Allan Jacobs

Joel  A.  Jacobs, age 62, of Adrian, MI, passed away, November 23, 2015,  at Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home.  He was born September 17, 1953, in Syracuse, New York, the son of Peter Allan & Mary Ann Jacobs. Joel retired from General Motors after 35 years of service.  He spent the last seven years working for the Lenawee County Mission.  He is survived by his wife, Veronica Jacobs, two daughters, Adrianne & Stephanie, two sons, Sonny & Eddy and two nieces, Renee & Jennifer.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Mark. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Fr. Anthony Strouse presiding.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemtery, Adrian, MI.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
