Brewer, Jesse   Son of John Kelley Moore and Wilma Jean Brewer (Carpenter), was born October 15, 1958 in Campton, KY. Following his most beloved sister, Sissy Mead to Jackson, MI in 1977 where they both decided to live. Jesse married Julie Poe of East Jackson on June 16, 1979 at Loomis Park Baptist Church. They were blessed with four children: Jesse, Christina, Laura and John-Michael. Jesse, a bold fearless proclaimer of the Lord Jesus Christ, would be found often witnessing to others about his faith of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. From time to time he would have small group bible study at their home. Many friends often stated he had a wonderful sense of humor. In the summer of 2009, they moved to their current home at 3015 Whitlock. In September 2012, he was diagnosed with cancer with his ever devoted wife, Julie, by his side, they fought the good fight, trusting the Lord. On Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 7:55 p.m. his Savior called him to his heavenly home at the age of 57. His sister, Sissy Mead, preceded him in death last January. Surviving family members are brothers, Marvin Brewer and Robert Hall of Kentucky, Michael Moore of Ohio, and sister, Joetta Hall of Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at East Jackson Church of the Nazarene, 5549 Ann Arbor Rd., Jackson, MI, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 4 p.m. with a gathering from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial will take place Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery in Stockbridge.
