James Larry Garrett

James Larry Garrett,  age 72, of Tipton, MI,  passed away peacefully at home September 27, 2015.  James was born November 21, 1942 in Jackson, MI the son of James and Norma (Rife) Garrett.  On January 9, 1965 he married Margaret (Peggy) Goings in Brooklyn, MI.  Together they raised their three daughters in the home they built in the Irish Hills.  In addition to his wife, Peggy,  he is survived by his daughters, Nola and her son, T. J. Garrett, Amy and children, Alexandria and Anthony Garrett-Vaughn and Lise' (Keith) Hartung; mother, Norma Garrett and siblings, Linda (Bruce) Pifer and David (Wanda) Garrett.  There will be a Celebration of his life at a later date.  Condolences to the family may be made online at: www.pursefuneralhome.com.
