Iona D. (Davenport) Osterhout

Iona D. Osterhout, age 91, formerly of Sand Lake, passed away April 26, 2017 in Westerville, OH. Iona was born February 19, 1926 in Butler, IN to Clesson and Hazel (Sawyer) Davenport. On August 17, 1945 she married Wendell Osterhout in Tipton, MI. Iona was a graduate of Adrian High School. She was retired from Herrick Memorial Hospital where she worked in the Medical Records Dept. Iona had been a Cub Scout Den Mother, Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, and school volunteer. She had attended the Heart of the Lakes United Brethren Church for several years. Iona is survived by her children Terry (Carlotta) Osterhout of Mesa,AZ, Steven (Lisa) Osterhout of Auburn, IN and Wendy Kay  (Bernie) Woller of Westerville, OH; 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren,and 1 great, great grandchild. According to Iona's wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.
