Imogene E. Hirsch, age 80, of Onsted, MI, passed away, August 29, 2015, at home with her family. She was born December 23, 1934, in Paulding, OH, the daughter of James Oliver & Anna Viola (Miller) Grunden. She worked numerous years as a waitress at the Sand Lake Inn. Imogene loved sewing, shopping and going to the casino to gamble. She also volunteered at Hospice of Lenawee. Imogene is survived by her children, Bonnie (Bob Daniels) Cousino, Gregory (Nancy) Shaner, Patricia (Tim Adams) Norman, Donald Shaner and Jack (Cindy) Shaner, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister, Sandra Hirsch and two brothers, Elwood Grunden and DeWayne (Lori) Grunden and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jeffery Hirsch, two brothers, Robert Grunden & James Grunden and two sisters, Madeline Rumsey & Linda Trevino. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 3, 2015, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Tom McMichael officiating. Burial will follow in Tipton Cemetery, Franklin Twp., MI. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
