Ilene Gorr

Ilene  Gorr, age 89, of Wamplers Lake, MI, passed away, July 28, 2015, at Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home.  She was born January 2, 1926, in Wyandotte, MI, the daughter of Oscar & Esther Wolfe.  On August 11, 1946, she married Louis Charle Gorr, Sr., who preceded her in death in January of 2002, in Kissimmee, FL.  She is survived by her children, Jeri Lynn Mantey and Louis Charles Gorr, Jr., two grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Zirn and Jeffrey Lee Stone, great grandchildren, Sebastian and Brittany, her sister, Marguerite Boyce of Monroe, MI and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband Louis Sr., she was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister at birth, three brothers, Donald "Bud", Ralph, Leonard, and one sister, Dorothy.  Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2015, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
