Homer A. Betz

Homer A. Betz, age 92, of Blissfield, MI, passed away, October 19, 2017.  He was born March 15, 1925, in Riga Twp., MI, the son of Stanley & Rose (Fisher) Betz. On August 20, 1949, he married Donna Miller, she survives. Homer served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He retired from General Motors in Toledo.  In addition to his wife Donna Betz, he is survived by two daughters, Sandra (John) Lawson and Lori (Gary) Wallace, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, his siblings, Herbert (Joyce) Betz, Susie (John) Sharp and Sally (Don) Chittenden and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, great grandson, Brockton, one brother, Harley Betz and three sisters, Alice Betz, Erma Stieb and Sedonna Clark.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Pastor Tim Watters officiating. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI with Military Honors performed by the Adrian VFW Post 1584 Honor Guard.
