Helen E. (Clark) Wilson

Helen E. (Clark) Wilson, age 90, of Tecumseh, MI,  passed away, May 22, 2015, at Cambrian Assisted Living.  She was born December 28, 1924 in Latrobe, PA, the daughter of Lane Ambrose and Ruth Naomi (Spicher) Welshons.  On January 19, 1943, she married Alexander Clark.  He preceded her in death on October 14, 1979. On November 26, 1983 she remarried William Wilson. He preceded her in death in 2013.  Helen was retired from Detroit Northern Savings and Loan with over 20 years of service.   She is survived by a daughter Kathy (Charles) Christensen of Tecumseh; and Thomas (Diana) Clark of Southgate, two step-daughters, Janice (Tom) Gluyas of New Jersey, and Mary(John) Salmon of Florida;  7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter;  and two sisters, Mae Louise Lehman of Redford, and Norma Jean Mikesell of Fenton.  In addition to her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents.   Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m.  Wednesday May 27, 2015 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI with Rev. Jon Turner officiating.  A luncheon in honor of Helen will follow at Clinton Baptist Church,  Clinton, Michigan.  Interment will take place at a later date at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, MI.  Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday May 26, 2015 at J. Gilbert Purse, Adrian, MI.  Memorial Contributions may be directed towards Hospice of Lenawee.
