Gregg Evans Gier

Gregg Evans Gier, age 60, of Adrian, MI, passed away, February 18, 2017, at the University of Michigan Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born October 23, 1956, the son of Earl James & Virginia Louise (Evans) Gier. Gregg attended Adrian Public Schools. He worked as a landscaper for Spielman's in Adrian for several years. He is survived by his two sisters, Karen (Richard) Densel and Marcia Cryder, three nephews, Barry Cryder II, Jamie Cryder and Richard III (Alicia) Densel, and one niece, Dawn (Anthony) Johnson, three aunts, Louise Phipps, Ramona Brownell and Charlotte Hamilton, and nine great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Mark Gier, and brother in law, Barry Cryder. Gregg also leaves behind his beloved dog, Sophie. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lenawee Humane Society.
