Glenn Clarence Spencer

Glenn Clarence Spencer, age 55, of Clinton, passed away January 4, 2018 with his brothers by his side.  Glenn was born December 18, 1962 in Tecumseh, Michigan the son of Harry and Annabelle (Bowman) Spencer.  Glenn was born with Down Syndrome and did not get a fair chance at life, but made the most of everything he did.  Glenn loved to be around people and was happy with all he did.  He loved all animals, country music, gambling with family and his life. On June 4, 1989, he graduated from Milton C. Porter Education Center.  He made lots of friends there and won several medals with Special Olympics.  He continued his education at Hope Center in Adrian until spring, 2016.  Glenn is survived by two brothers, Dale (Trudy Kaidan) and Lee (Lisa); sister, Suzanne; several nieces and nephews and many loving cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol.  Glenn will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Eric Hickman officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton.  Visitation will be 11:00 A. M. to 1:00 P.
