Geraldine M. Woods

Geraldine M. Woods, age 89, of Adrian, MI, passed away, October 31, 2017.  She was born October 16, 1928, in Milan, MI, the daughter of Earl & Ida (Preston) Olds. On January 8, 1949, she married Wayne A. Woods, he preceded her in death in October of 2009.    Gerry volunteered at the Red Cross and Bixby Hospital for a combined 50 years.    She attended Raisin Valley Friends Church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years.  Gerry is survived by her children; Kathy (Don) Bohlka of Blissfield and Dee (Laura) Woods of Highland, MI, her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Gunter, Michelle (Matt) Ganun, Chris (Sue) Woods, Eric (Amanda) Woods, Travis (Becca) Wilson, Cory (Jen) Wilson and Danielle Wilson and great grandchildren, Emma, Gavin, Tyler, Jenirae, Christopher, Lucy, Joshua, Nathan, Sara Grace, Avery, Brandon, Jaelynn, Makayla, Briana and Rylan.  In addition to her husband Wayne, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Stephen Olds and Ivan Olds and one sister, Eileen Bauer.  Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 5, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Doug Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Raisin Valley Cemetery.
