Evangelina Guzman

Evangelina Guzman, age 79, of Tecumseh, passed away November 28, 2017.  Evangelina was born November 19, 1938 in Cotulla, Texas the daughter of Felipe and Guadelupe (Vasquez) Castorena.  She married Antonio Guzman and he preceded her in death August, 2014.  She lived in the Lenawee County area most of her life.  Angelina is survived by her sisters, Lupe Navarrette, Alice Cruz, Vina (Ysidro) Duran and Espe (Ray) Garcia; brother, Jose (Esther) Castorena and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, Antonio, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jesse and Ruben Castorena.  Funeral services will be 1:00 P. M. Friday, December 1, 2017 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Pastor Pedro Valdez officiating,  Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI,  Visitation will be 11:00 A. M. to 1:00 P.
