Eugene F. Clark. age 89, of Adrian, MI, passed away March 26, 2015. He was born December 25, 1925, in Lake, MI, the son of Ray & Bertha (Sowle) Clark. On May 17, 1952, he married Esther Maxine Rogers. Eugene served his country during WW II & the Korean War as a radio operator & technician in the U.S. Navy. He retired from American Chain & Cable (ACCO) after 30 plus years of service. Eugene attended Raisin Valley Friends Church. He is survived by his wife Maxine, his children, Roger (Laura) Clark of Minneapolis, MN, Sandra Marklew of Adrian, MI and Sue (Donald) Jeffers of Adrian, MI, his grandchildren, Chris (Sue) Woods, Eric (Amanda) Woods and Joy Jeffers, great grandchildren, JeniRae, Christopher, Lucy, Joshua, Nathan and Sarah, one brother, Chester (Cynthia) Clark and two sisters, Geraldine Clark and Betty Adams, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Doug Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, MI, with Military Honors performed by the Onsted American Legion Durkee-Seager Post 550.
