Edwin Charles Friemoth, age 90, of Clayton, MI, went to be with Our Lord Jesus at the Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home on January 17, 2018. He was born in Ottoville, OH November 22, 1927. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore John & Theresa (Landwher) Friemoth and all of his siblings, Linus & Louella in infancy, Arthur Friemoth, Rita Heidneisher, Orville Friemoth, Elmer Friemoth, Hubert Friemoth, Sue Tesnow and Marie Musgrave. Ed is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and two sisters in law. Ed served our country in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1947 stationed in Saipan. He worked at a grain elevator in Delphos, OH and then relocated to his sister Marie's farm in Clayton. He worked part time at Kolz's Corner Store. Ed was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hudson, MI. He enjoyed playing the lottery, fishing, playing cards and bingo and he loved to work. Ed was known to everyone as the popcorn man.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held this summer at the farm and will be announced at a later date.
