Edna Irene Burwell

Edna  Irene  Burwell, age 85, of Adrian, passed away, June 23, 2017.  She was born May 10, 1932 in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Charles & Frances (Seelander) Bassler.  On May 28, 1951 she married Donald Burwell, Sr., in Montpelier, OH.  He preceded her in death in 2007.  Edna is survived by her two sons; Donald (Sadie) Burwell Jr. of Tecumseh MI, and Douglas Burwell of Toledo OH; six grandsons; Andrew,  Dustin, Garrett, Joshua, Aaron, and Travis, ; two granddaughters Shanna and Trieste; four great grandsons, Brice, Simon, Brantley, Caiden; six great granddaughters Savannah, Alexia, Natalie, Aubrey, Amelia, Kaylee; her brother Duane Startzman and her sister Kathleen Manley of Montpelier OH.  In addition to her husband Donald Burwell Sr., she was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Dale Burwell and David  Burwell, a grandson Dominique Burwell, great-grandson Carson Burwell.  Funeral services will be be held, 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.  Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh.  Visitation will be on Monday, June 26, 2017, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at at the J.
