Dr. Craig J. Norman
January 16, 1944 ~ June 28, 2017 (age 73) 73 Years OldCraig J. Norman, 73, passed away June 28, 2017, at the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor, after a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Monroe to Wayne and Rhoda (Bodell) Norman, raised in Dundee and graduated Dundee High School, class of 1962. He attended Cleary College, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a proud member of Tau Kappa Delta fraternity. Upon graduation he was drafted into the Army, serving over a year in Vietnam. After discharge he entered Palmer College of Chiropractic, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He opened his office in Adrian and practiced for 27 years until retirement. Before becoming ill, he enjoyed many activities. He was a member of the U.S. Table Tennis Association and competed in multiple tournaments in the U.S. and Canada. He also loved spending time with family and friends, fishing for walleye on Lake Erie, golfing, following U of M football and riding his Harley. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nancy; a son, Michael (Jami) Norman of Adrian; a daughter, Michelle (Stephen) Broida of Cleveland; and two grandchildren, Thomas and Betty Norman, who gave him great joy. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial with interment will be held at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date.
