Dominic Luna Alcozer, age 17, of Adrian, MI, passed away unexpectedly at Motts Children Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born December 24, 1997, in Adrian, MI, the son of David & Jessica (Casarez) Alcozer. They survive. In addition to his parents, Dominic is survived by one sister, Gabriella Ybarra (Jesse Gauna, Sr.), three brothers, David (Airam) Alcozer, Jr, Carlitos Alcozer and Diego Alcozer, his nephew, Jesse Gauna, Jr., his grandmother, Elva Garcia (Dewayne Garner), his grandfather, Isadore (Virginia) Casarez, Jr. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Esperanza Valencia, his grandfather, Florencio Alcozer, his uncle, Larry Alcozer and his cousin, Frankie Avila along with his great grandparents. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2015, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Lenawee County Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. MI. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
