David Lee Houck

David Lee Houck, age 59, of Adrian, MI, passed away, January 21, 2015, at University Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.  He was born March 5, 1955, in Jackson, MI, the son of Edwin G. & Vera Belle (McGee) Houck.  David worked for close to twenty years at Meijer's in Adrian and finished his career working in Juvenile Corrections.  He was an avid hunter and really enjoyed being a fan all Michigan Teams.  His greatest enjoyment was watching his sons play sports and coaching them when they were younger.  He was devoted to his family, sons, grandchildren, and fiance Jody Mello.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Corneila (Houck) Taylor.  David is survived by his two sons,  David (Cynthia) Houck II and their children, Collin, Bailyn and Azlyn and James (Staci) Houck, his fiance, Jody Mello, six brothers, Lynn, Dwight (Lois), Ray (Linda), Jake (Joyce), Ted and John (Christa) and his sister, Vera (Glen) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015, at First United Methodist Church, 1245 West Maple St., Adrian, MI 49221.  Condolences may be offered to the family online at: wwwPurseFuneralHome.com
