Charles "Chuck" Gibbs

Charles  "Chuck"  Gibbs, age 66, of Brooklyn, MI, passed away, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at home with his family.  He was born October 29, 1949, in Adrian, MI, the son of Warren & Kathleen (Govin) Gibbs.  He was a graduate of Madison High School.   Chuck, in 1967, attended Barber School in Detroit, MI.   He owned & operated the Hair Affair in Adrian, MI for several years.  On July 1, 1989, he married Patricia (Watson) Davis, she survives.   Chuck worked as a Foreman at Tecumseh Products and retired from MACI in Jackson, MI.  In addition to his wife Patricia Gibbs, he is survived by his children, Scott (Sharon) Gibbs of Onsted, MI, Kristy (Matthew) Holmes of Chagrin Falls, OH, stepson, Jeff (Sharon) Updike of Brooklyn, MI, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Linda Seeburger  and Kimberly (Andrew) Hubbell and his Vineyard Lake Family.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Jeff "Gibby" Gibbs.  Per his request cremation has taken place and his family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
