Charles Raymond Ashenfelter

Charles Raymond Ashenfelter, age 84, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away, January 26, 2018, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor. He was born October 17, 1933, in Dessler, OH, the son of Jess & Jeanette (Feckley) Ashenfelter. On June 25, 1955, he married Dorothy Ruff, she survives.  Charles served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  In addition to his wife, Dorothy Ashenfelter, he is survived by two granddaughters, Stephanie (Robert) Bradley and Holly (Amber) Smith, two great granddaughters, Madisyn Bradley and Madison Smith, great grandson, Mason Bradley, two sisters, Jeanette Gritzmaker and Frances Lewis and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Tracy Behm, his parents, Jess Sr. & Jeanette Ashenfelter, three brothers, Jess Ashenfelter, Jr., Bob Ashenfelter and Harvey Ashenfelter.  Memorial Services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Military Honors will be performed by the Adrian VFW Post 1584 Honor Guard.
