Bruce David Rose, Jr.

Bruce David Rose, Jr., age 43, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 3, 2017.  He was born October 20, 1973, in Charleston, South Carolina, the son of Bruce Sr. & Nancy (Bliss) Rose, they preceded him in death.  Bruce worked as the manager of Hill's Adrian Auto, working alongside of his father, John Lewis. He was a master mechanic and was irreplaceable at his job. Bruce loved to to take his boys fishing and hunting. He was a kind and loving generous soul and would give you anything he had. Anyone who he came in contact with loved Bruce. Bruce treated everyone like family and he will be dearly missed.  He is survived his children, Thomas Louis Liberty, Bruce David Rose III, Dorian James Rose and Alicia Rose Adams, the mother of his children, Melissa Rose, his sisters, Anita Wright, Rebecca Lewis, Rachael Lewis, his brothers, John (Erin) Lewis and George (Jaimelynn) Lewis and John and Wanda Lewis who he considered his parents, his nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved just like his own children, Lucky, Devin, Serenity, ShaeLynn, Kolten, Gavin, Zyler, Zayla, Madilynn, Zaleah and Tobias, his aunt, Beverly (Eric) Kruger, and his cousin, Michael Howard along with many extended family members.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilma & Harold Bliss and Mamaw Suzie and uncle, Michael Bliss.  Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the J.
