Barbara Alice Sprow

Barbara Alice Sprow, age 76, of Adrian, MI, passed away, October 23, 2016.  She was born September 24, 1940, in Wheeling, West Virginia, the daughter of, Robert & Edith (Jenkins) Hughes.  She is survived by her two sons, Larry Dean (Linda) Barber and James Lee (Kristin) Barber, seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, her siblings, Duane (Laura) Barrett of Bremerton, WA, Susan McCoy of Oklahoma City, OK and Carol Benjamen of Tecumseh, MI and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother, LeRoy Barrett, one sister, Delores Miller, her son, Joseph Barber, her great grandson, Richard Barber, and husband, Andrew Sprow.  Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 28, 2016, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Rev. Sandy Benes officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J.
