Barbara A. (Garrett) Greiner

Barbara A. Greiner, 76, of Adrian passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Lynwood Manor.  Barbara was born to Walter and Gertrude (Phoenix) Garrett on August 25, 1939, in Toledo, OH.  She attended Bowling Green University, then completed her studies at the Maumee Valley Hospital School of Nursing (now MCO), graduating as an RN. She worked for many years as a nurse, a career she truly loved.  She enjoyed cooking, reading English mysteries, needlework and knitting. Barbara is survived by her children; Elizabeth (Dean) Robbins, Scot (Tracie) Clark, Robin Clark, Glenn (Leo) Clark  and Jesse Greiner and her grandchildren; Kurran,  Zachery and  Ryan Brown, Alexander Robbins, Audrey and Mason Clark.  She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation and viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian, MI.
