Antonio "Tony" Rodriguez

Antonio "Tony" Rodriguez, age 72, of Adrian, MI, passed away unexpectedly April 12, 2018.  He was born July 5, 1945, in Riga Twp., MI, the son of Guadalupe & Alvina (Gonzalez) Rodriguez. On June 30, 1974, he married Linda Schomp, she preceded him in death.  Tony was retired from Tecumseh Products Co. He loved camping, dancing and Mexican music.    Tony loved being around his kids and grandkids. He was a people person and enjoyed visit his friends & family. Tony was an avid churchgoer at St. Mary's.  He is survived by three daughters; Tanya Rodriguez, Alvina Rayas and Kristy Rodriguez, his grandchildren, Tyrrell, Tyler & Serena Rodriguez, Kiana & Victor Rayas, Jr., Ariana, Isaac & Isabelle Rodriguez, sisters, Refugia "Cuca" Rodriguez, Rita Rodriguez and Lena (Nick) Silva and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren in infancy, Jacob Alexander & Adriana Rayas.  Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 18, 2018, St. Mary of Good Counsel Catholic Church 305 Division St., Adrian, MI. with Fr. Tom Murphy presiding. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery Adrian, MI. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Tony's family for final expenses.
