Seaman Merlow Packard

Seaman Merlow Packard, age 91, of Tecumseh, passed away November 12, 2017.  Seaman was born February 14, 1926 in Tecumseh the son of Merlow and Adelia (Mapes) Packard. On September 16, 1946 he married Leila R. Johnston in Elko, Nevada.  Seaman is survived by four children, Ronald (Jeanie) Packard of Troy, Judy (Mark) Schaffer of Las Vegas, Nev., Paula (Dan) Gensch of Tecumseh and Susan Graves of Cincinnati, Ohio.; grandchildren, David , Emily, Jon, Jennifer,  Rachel, Zachary and  Ethan.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Leila and  parents.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Eric Hickman officiating.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.  Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 P. M.
